I don't think anyone doubts that the net has not only become a cool and useful tool to learn and meet people, but it's also a place where hate speech and crime can escape the controls of our police forces.
I was somehow angry about this just now. Having sexual abuse be treated like nothing online, is something that shouldn't be tolerated.
So I just googled see what we're doing her in the UK cuz it's afterall the responsibility of govts to enact new laws to improve the control websites.
Found this cool thing from 3 months ago:
Theresa May’s move to link web users with IP address given cautious welcome
Although I don't like the tory govt, this is a pretty good idea. I support it
Can't wait to see those freaks that engage in hate speech online, be tracked down and fined heavily for spewing their nonsense. Will give us the chance to eliminate not only the Islamic nutters, but also all the racist, homophobic and anti-woman rubbish flying around.
Hope to see it implemented soon in all British websites, TA included.
