So, for the past few days I have found myself very interested in the different phenotypes of the American Indians. I decided to make a bunch of composite images from historical photos, and here is the result. You can see all the variety of appearances that there are among all the different regions of the USA. One thing I noticed is that while each region has its own typical look, there are individuals who look somewhat out of place. For example, you could find a Sioux who looks more typical for Apache. That is why I believe it does not make sense to divide the tribes up into specific phenotypes like "Silvid" or "Pacifid" as the old anthropologists did.

I agree. Negroids and caucasoids are only slightly in better position.
