there are no Romas, they are Gypsy. I think they are OK everywhere, no one lynches any Gypsy in Europe and most of them get welfare and people avoid them because they consider them violent and dangerous. so no actual problems for Gypsies in Europe. they face unemployment, but it's not because of ethnicity, it's because of lack of skill. those of them who are skilled get a job. also, Westerners don't discriminate Gypsies more than they discriminate Balkanites. all Romanians and Bulgarians and even Yugos are considered Gypsy or Gypsy-like in some Western countries because of the ignorance of the Westerners so real Gypsies are not treated worse

Btw, Italy as well as Greece have become more towards gypsies since hordes of Bulgarian and Romanian gypsies started coming to their countries, stealing, littering and creating problems. I doubt Italy was racist towards gypsies before that. Even the Greek gypsies are hostile towards those newly arrived Bulgarian and Romanian gupsies.

in slovakia and czech republic people cant stand them not because of their skin colour or phenotype but because they always behave in an asocial manner. they steal, pollute and are impulsive..

a slovakian man/woman earns 400 euroes by hard work and a gypsy family with kids gets 700 from social wellfare department.. how can they be liked? any resonable explanation? do you think its discrimination to hate them under such circumstances?

hungarian talkshow exposes their "manners", fighting over a cable tv..

in slovakia we gave them a whole house block, they sold the windows, furniture, plumbing, doors and now live there in blank building, does it explain their mentality well enough?

they brought indian slum culture with them to europe as they migrated to europe from india!

dont think only europeans dislike them, in czech republic durign communism lot of vitnamese workers settled down, they are mostly very friendly with good manners and hardworking and now even the vietnamese have enough from gypsies..

Same things happens in Romania almost every day. An example of a video with a Romanian woman who was disturbed by some Gypsies in a Transylvanian train without any reason. Totally nice from them.
