Nighttime-movie-in-my-head reference number 0001
(I love this retrofuturistic old-time computer "science-y" font. It's like reading one of them inane Government Vault Experiments stories in a Fallout 3® in-game terminal.)

Yesterday's dream I find interesting enough to post it here (won't include it in my dream diary because it is Too $hort for that.)

The overall atmosphere was pre-postapocalyptic, location seemed urban/city-themed, and the smell of panic was in the air.

I do not remember the individual details of it only the oppressive premonition vibe. There was like a virus pandemic going on that turned humans into rabid but beautiful dogs that had to bite other animals (including humans), taking large chunks off of them, otherwise they turned into really ugly maggot-infested creatures you would not want to have on your Turkish rug.

No idea where I was, or whether I was there to begin with. It was one of those third person dreams that you just happen to be there, taking the depersonalized camera POV instead (Does this betray some hidden, deep sexual voyeuristic urges? What did the brain mean by this?). I saw a couple of survivors -- army personnel -- pathetically huddling together in the air ducts (one of those fictitious movie-size ones like w/ Bruce Willis in Die Hard (1988)) like scared children and that's where I was as well, looking down, spotting a frustrated rabid dog that barked at us as it was disappearing into a puddle of brown vomit.

That's it.

(Dream analysis by the brightest Samoan minds footnote: I must've played too much Capcom® Biohazard Evil® and my brain noticed enough to incorporate its themes in its daily maintenance screensaver service. Either that or Capcom® can now advertise their latest game directly to your retinas now which I find all the more impressive. The interpretation I find most fitting is that it is a vegan-themed dream. Humans need ANIMAL PROTEIN to survive without which they turn into ugly, scrawny-ass EA® Dead Space 2® creatures. It's not the nicest revelation explanation but It's What It Is™.)

I was in an Arabic country (idk which one but it was definitely Arabic) with a guy, he told me to find a bus to go to the centre, i said ok and then, he suddenly became lost. I found a bus but only women were there and many of them had black niqabs, it was just quite weird.

I had a dream that a friend I hadn't seen for ten years was at a concert with me, and he kept picking his nose and rubbing it on me. I tried to run away out of the building, but he was always waiting for me around every corner. I don't know what goes on in my subconscious.

I was in command of an expedition of some sort. I can't say exactly when, but the dream took place around the 17th century. My ship had been at sea for months when it reached an unknown island. I decided to go exploring and took two crewmen, a sassy white horse and my cat. Turns out the island was full of snakes of all kinds. My cat proved its worth in detecting them, so we could easily walk around them or I could swiftly chop their heads off with my sword. Did I mention I was in a full suit of armor? Walking was exhausting. After a couple of hours we reached the summit of a mountain and found a red apple tree at the very top. It was absolutely laden with fruit. We all started eating off the ground and even my cat had a slice (I took the seeds out). Then I knocked on the trunk and thousands of apples fell on top of us. It was very cartoon-like. The men and I filled a couple of sacks with apples, but when we wanted to load them on the horse we discovered the creature had gotten so bloated it could barely walk. So we had to carry it all back on our own.
