If SHTF like in Italy what are u gonna do? Do you have survivalist plans?

Lombardy is the richest part of Italy, famous for having best medical institutions etc.. etc.. yet it struggles with lack of breathing ventilators etc..

Can you guys imagine how would Romania or Bulgaria handle the crisis? It would be a catastrophe.

Another thing is that food production chains might collapse if this escalate further, it would be smart move to prepare rations "just in case"

Today I am going to buy few 25kg sacks of Wheat, packs of Rice, Sugar, Honey, etc.. I want to have food for 3-6 months in case food chains collapse due to Corona virus.

Anyone have similar ideas?

This question makes me think about our responsibility towards other people. If many people are going to buy this amount of food and other supplies (just considering production of them as constant which will not be the case) there will be serious shortages soon and one could not buy a single kg of flour...
Last time I was about to buy hand sanitizer (found a not yet discovered source, local chinese shop bc pharmacies dont have any) there were 10 pieces. I bought just 2, but should I have to buy all of them? I think the answer is no. Thats a moral question, live and let live. Not easy.

I have more than a year's supply of food, stuff like:

- oatmeal, macaroni, wheat flour, rye flour, wheat crackers, rice;
- sugar;
- rapeseed oil, sunflower oil;
- peanuts, dried peas, cocoa powder;
- whey protein, protein bars.

I also restocked on supplements from Ebay.

I already thought that I was going to self-quarantine a month ago, but I have been acting dumb and going in public unnecessarily. I haven't even bought masks or hand sanitizer, because I thought I wouldn't be going out in public anyway.

I have stored about 300 liters of water, even though I don't even know if my municipality has the kind of water system that is at risk of going down. The best method to store water that I found was to use ziploc bags. They are a lot cheaper than plastic boxes or plastic buckets. They are also easy to hide somewhere like in a closet.

I'm thinking about buying an extra backup drive and hiding it somewhere in case someone breaks into my home and steals my computer and backup device, or in case there's an EMP or something. Or maybe I should just start doing off-site backups again.

I have worn latex gloves when I have gone to the supermarket, even though I don't know if it helps, because I'm still touching my groceries with the gloves. 100 pairs of latex gloves cost less than 2 euros.

Before I started wearing gloves, I used a q-tip to press the buttons on the payment terminal at the supermarket, and also to press an ATM touchscreen.

When I went to the supermarket, I often used to buy fresh pastries like croissants, and then I ate them outside the supermarket with my bare hands (often right after I had touched a shopping basket, or right after I had pressed the grimy buttons on a payment terminal). I now stopped doing it, because I realized how risky it was.

There is really now a shortage of food supplies we could not find wheat and pasta in supermarket yesterday but my family didn't stocked up food I hope it won't end badly for us now that we didn't

I never care about such things and I'm not going to change my habits. For such cases I have mother, wife, sister and daughter. Let them care about it.

Also I am Armenian and a part of Family and People and thanks to other Armenians I am definitely not going to be let alone in desperate conditions.
