    Not many samples of Z225 maybe I’ll make a map based on “estimated” locations in Iberia in the future with all the data I can find...

    However, for now I can show a full map of Europe and the distribution of the branch of Z225: (based on YHRD)

    Pues... Que quieres que te diga macho, sencillamente no hay muestras antiguas con el R1a en España, asi que ese haplogrupo es un recien llegado. Me mata la curiosidad el clade que vayas a sacar, eso nos va a dar bastantes respuestas, pero lo seguro es que R1a con los beakers y los celtas, no vinieron.

    Que por cierto tio no doy con los U152 de Iberia, queria hacer un post dedicandotelo pero es que, o se equivocaron en la pagina indo-european o soy yo que no esta buscando bien la referencia.

    Yeah I would expect it to be largest in Iberia going with the samples we have that show that it prevails their- particularly in the north. The rest spread out across Europe can be from ancient or modern migrations, Iberians moving to those locations, and it could be attributed to many other things. Right now the theory is that it is one of the first true celtiberian lineages coming from an intermingling of farmers and western hunter gathers.
