DNA tests and their future

Molecular biology and genetics are really helpful in many aspects of our lives and in the future they are going to be far more important than they are today. However, people of 100 years later will most probably claim “It is very weird that humans used to estimate their ethnicity solely looking at their DNA results” just like people of today mostly think “It is very weird that humans of 100 years ago used to estimate their ethnicity solely looking at their skull metrics”.

These are my thoughts about the future of DNA tests which are used for ethnicity estimations.

Molecular biology and genetics are really helpful in many aspects of our lives and in the future they are going to be far more important than they are today. These are my thoughts about the future of DNA tests which are used for ethnicity estimations.

I think DNA 'ethnicity estimates' became popular because there is no such thing as an 'ethnic American'. To be sure American used to mean English, Scottish or Dutch Protestant then the Irish, Eastern Europeans, and Southern Europeans came and then all kinds of people from all over the world came now there is no such thing as an ethnic American. To be sure the Netherlands etc.. too is somewhat multi-cultural too but there are still ethnic Dutch people in the majority :

The bourgeoisie has through its exploitation of the world market given a cosmopolitan character to production and consumption in every country. To the great chagrin of Reactionists, it has drawn from under the feet of industry the national ground on which it stood. All old-established national industries have been destroyed or are daily being destroyed. They are dislodged by new industries, whose introduction becomes a life and death question for all civilised nations, by industries that no longer work up indigenous raw material, but raw material drawn from the remotest zones; industries whose products are consumed, not only at home, but in every quarter of the globe. I fully respect molecular biology and genetics but in my opinion ancestral DNA tests are border-line pseudoscience.

DNA testing will become the rule, as a part of the Great Reset and the Great Control for the sake of "Public Health" as we can witness now with vaccine passport against COVID.

Since people are willingly giving up their privacy and freedom due to the COVID propaganda (not bothered to be traced, to be "checked" everytime they go somewhere : bar, restaurants, fitness club, cinema, ...), with the advancement of genetics, again for the sake of "Health", we will be able to detect your genetic odds to develop a disease, and take preventive measures to "heal/cure" you (and not infect others, in order to protect them).

I imagine in the coming decades, DNA test will be part of medical test/routine for a newborn or even before birth, when the baby is still in the womb, and part of your ID card.

The part for knowing ethnicity will be pushed for marketing purpose, like Health, because in an increasingly globalized world, people will be more and more mixed, and yet, in these rootless post-modern societies, the natural thirst for knowing its lineage, heritage, will help boost DNA testing acceptance among the population.

So for YOUR health and public health, for knowing your background, and why not also for eugenic purpose (selecting your future baby features, mates, for hiring a new employee), but most importantly, all your data will be kept in large databases and the notion of privacy will disappear...

Actually I don’t think studies about DNA is pseudoscience. The only thing which is pseudoscience is trying to determine ethnicity via DNA tests.
