What does your nick-name and your avatar mean?

Longbowmen were the mainstay of the English army for the medieval period. For centuries, English and Welsh men and boys would practise firing their longbows every Sunday to ensure England had a good supply of yeoman bowmen. These warriors mowed down the flower of French chivalry at famous English victories such as Agincourt, Crecy and Poitiers, where outnumbered peasant bowmen destroyed mounted knights in their thousands for minimal losses.

Also my favourite unit in Age of Empires II. That's what the avatar is. A longbowman from Age of Empires II.

My favorite scenario is Agincourt, definitely. Seeing a squad of longbowmen mow down rank after rank of frog knights is priceless, specially for us with an axe to grind against that accursed nation.

The name is 'A voz dos deuses' , the author is João Aguiar. Its a cool book, albeit a sad one, and you learn about hystory, a great combo.

A traditional tobacco cultivator from the northern part of my country, who also took the machete to go to war, if the need arose, which was quite often.

My nickname here is the name of a place located in Navarra region, north Spain… it’s a little town settled in a valley back of the Pyrenees.
An important part of my family comes from that side.
That place is commonly known as Roncal or Valle del Roncal, but the place recived also the name of Erronkari which is a word in Euskera (the ancient language of the basques and peripheric folks) which meaning is “Challenge” or “Challenger”.

My Avatar is related to something totally different.
It’s a picture created by an Argentinian painter called Florencio Molina Campos (RIP).
He used to paint landscapes and people from the countryside (rural areas) called “gauchos” of Central Argentina.
I like a lot his paints, although I am not originally from a rural area but from a little town (around 25.000 inhabitants) called Casilda, in Santa Fe province, but I love rural areas and the activities there and as I told you the scenes of gauchos.

Aila, because it is a Saami/Finnish name and the name of an elderly aunty of mine.

I took the name when I took the DNA-test wanting to find out our Saami and Siberian connection, which some Finns, out of not knowing, seemed to deny us having.

Nick is from a german book of music, avatar is cropped passaged from my invocation of the secret power, similar to Buddhist chants, crying eye refers to the general mood of the text, which denotes some people(not all) turn to religion in dispair, hopelessness.
