Same with men. Although I've seen a couple of individuals (from both genders) who can pull it off.

A study of a community sample of women (Reference Romans, Martin and MorrisRomans 1998) found that being tattooed was associated with more psychiatric symptoms, borderline personality characteristics as well as increased alcohol use. Childhood sexual abuse was reported more often in women with tattoos.

Your Tattoos May Hint At An Ailing Mind

A study conducted by the Centre for Forensic Psychiatry, Michigan Department of Community Health shows that those with a desire to get inked are at a greater risk of suffering from antisocial personality disorder (ASPD). Not just that, the tattooed ones are more prone to substance abuse, sexual abuse and suicide attempts compared to those with a clean body. Researchers have concluded that tattoos are indicators of mental illness, lack of foresight and promiscuous behaviour.

Interesting... Though I don't consider a couple of small tats nothing weird, I always got that feeling that people covered in tattoos definitely got some issues.

At least 40% of Millennials in the US have a tattoo according to various sources. Gen Z is slightly less but give them some time

    https://www.statista.com/statistics/...tattoo-by-age/

    Boomers stand at 13%

This one says half of under 40s have them.

Had this conversation with my Mother and Nephew last weekend. Historically in the USA men in the military, especially the Navy, would get tattoos. Often something associated with their fleet, unit, division etc. Then when biker gangs became a thing they started doing it.

From what I see at the beach those are the numbers. I guess the ones that don't have tattoos don't go to the beach either.

yes and same for piercings aside earings, if you are a male like me seeking for a young girl for a serious long term relationship run far away from girls with tats and non sens piercings aside earings, because if they are capable of putting something inside their bodies they are ready to put anything too

aside the fashion design objective, there is more dangers with some inks and piercings like microships implants for human cheptel and the massive surveillance
i will use a very well known slogan used by some so called freedom fighters " my body my choice"

Same for piercings indeed, i would even add the load of tacky jewelries on each fingers, wrists etc... as well as crazy multicolor manicures. By experiences, all this should make you run away.

As the saying, you don't need to put stickers on a Lamborghini.
