On which side did your ancestors fight in WW 2?

Allies..
Grandgrandpa fom my mom side was captured and taken somewhere in Ukraine to a Internment.. Somehow he managed to escape and he joined to Soviet Partisans.
Grandgrandma back home tought that he is dead... He showed up in like 1946.. alive.

From my dad side they were Chetnicks, fighting for Monarchy and Yugoslavia under the Serbian King.

None, my grandpa was sent to the Pyrenees to protect the border with France from a possible invasion of Axis or Allies. They had the order to shoot to any army crossing the border, and were fearing even Nazi invasion (despite being our allies then).

My great-grandfather (who fought in the first world war against Austria) was philo-german but he didn't fought in the war because he was injuried during the first world war,my other Great-grandfather was anti-fascist and helped the americans in my city, great-grandfather's brother finally went to war in Jugoslavia for Fascist Italy (and he propably was killed because there were not other news about him).

My Brazilian grandpa fought in Italy, for the allies. He was infantary General and received a award - a combat cross - for bravery.

My grandfather´s brother was an officer in the US Navy.

My uncle fought for Primorsko Domobranstvo (Axis).

Among others there were partisans too, but they didn't distinguish themselves during the war.

Also the brother of the fathers great granddaddy was a sergeant in Black Legion. But in the end it was all pointless, my fathers side was all shot and my maternal great grandfather got 8 years imprisonment for "Anti revolutionary actions" with both sides of family losing what remained of their lands, three villages and a mine which were stolen for "benefit of the nation, brotherhood and unity".
