Well the best way is to use calipers, but most people haven't got em. So just go through measurements again and again and average the trials. Furthermore, this is solely a measurement of metrics, and not other traits, so a single thing wrong can change a lot,.

If you've got the time, you can go about it the way I did. Throughout the week, I spent about ten minutes a day just quickly going through the measurements. Earlier, I just used the repeating numbers. Those that were off were only off by five millimeters, at most, but even that's enough to change one's result.

    I am typical dinarid.
As I am getting older my CI raises, because my head is getting wider.
(at the moment around 85 CI).
Got brown hair, light brown eyes,187 cm tall, hard boned, some red thread of hair in my beard and a nose long of over 5cm,not as height lol,but as you look from profile.
I am also not feeling well if you take me too far away from mountains,I am starting to have sleeping problems and so on.
The dacian ancestry I got prevailed over other genetics.

(whatever, text book dinarid should have been a little more than 0.71 on cosine distance - like 0.85 - ideally is 1,but is not such a thing possible).

This calculator was quite accurate for me in terms of facial features.

Some features of mine not included in calculator:
    Eye Color - Gray Mixed
    Hair - Light Brown

My facial index was quite wrong. Had to update, some details, like minimum frontal (too wide) & facial height (too long).

    Racial Analysis Calculator

    Cephalic Index: 71.7 (dolichocephalic)
    Height/Length Index: 65.4 (hypsicephalic)
    Height/Breadth Index: 91.2 (acrocephalic)

    Upper Facial Index: 57.6 (leptene)
    Nasal Index: 63.6 (leptorrhine)
Estimated Endocranial Volume: 1500 cc (aristencephalic)
Estimated Brain Weight is: 1403 gr

    Irano-Nordoid (Euclidean), Irano-Nordoid (Mahalanobis), & Irano-Nordoid (Cosine).

    Cosine Similarity:
    Closest to Plate 29, Figure 6 (similarity = 0.68)
The Aran Islander shown in this figure is relatively brunet for his group, and has the exceptionally low auricular head height of 110 mm. He illustrates the principle that the low-headed factor is borne by the least blond element in the Aran population. Note the convergent temporal planes and the cylindrical profile of the vault when seen in the front view. This feature, in less exaggerated form,.is a cranial diagnostic of the Keltic Iron Age type in general.
    Mahalanobis Distance:
    Closest to Plate 24, Figure 4 (distance = 4)
A Scotsman from Ayrshire. An excellent example of the British Long Barrow type and a direct Neolithic survival.
    Euclidean Distance:
    Closest to Plate 29, Figure 6 (distance = 7)

Thinner the skull, lower the CI..My skull is more similar the left size. But Scots on average had the thinnest skulls in Britain.

The higher Facial Index, indicates the longer face. The British Isles comes out top in Europe.
