Actually, the whole of Bosnia excluding Hum were. Bosnia became free when the Kingdom of Hungary conquered the Kingdom of Croatia, being unable to take Bosnia (all tho they tried many times). Bosnia then began expansion, even taking Dalmatia from the Hungarian crown.

The point is Kingdom of Croatia encompassed major parts of B&H. You claimed there was no Croats in B&H prior to Ottomans conquest. I don't see what is so special about short lived 1390 Bosnia map in that regard. I don't know do you by Bosnia having Kingdom of Bosnia on your mind or the modern territory.

But here is a question even better. What is the reason of posting a map based on speculation? We can make a map of Bosnia at that time based on peace treaties, diplomatic material preserved at Dubrovnik archives and so on. But there are no documents mentioning the Crowning of Tomislav, nevermind the teritory he ruled.

It is a common history, nothing speculative about it. Nobody knows exactly where Tomislav was crowned, but so what? Show me those documents please and show me documents of Bosniaks prior to Kingdom of Bosnia or that Kingdom of Bosnia was set free after Kingdom of Croatia went under Hungarians as Blackfyre claims!

Again, not under Tvrtko but under his pre-predecesor, Stjepan I Kotromanic of Bosnia. He is the man who expanded the most. Tvrtko simply expanded on teritories he got his claim on. His mother was from Subic family so he took the lands of Subic. His grandma was from Nemanjic dinasty, so he took the lands of Nemanjic dinasty and split it.

Most of Kingdom of Bosnia was created by Kulin and Tvrtko. I thought you are history student.

Mongol invasion hardly hit Croatia at all, and although it did hit neighbouring countries, it led to their greater militarization compared to Bosnia.

I never said I believed in it, all I am saying is that some academics uphold this theory, and like any theory relevant to the subject, it should be brought forward to be elaborated.
