    I'm not a fan of American English, especially because some vowels seem to be "messed up"! I prefer British English also because they've vocalised the "post-nuclear R" in words like "word, Carl, heart" and so on, so it sounds less noisy; despite of that, I also like the Irish accents (very Celtic-influenced), especially because of their intonation..
