Wonder if the small Iberian match on the 23andme AC. Is the same as Eurogenes.

I always come out the most British on every test..so would have to see others also.

Actually i just noticed that Scottish is present on their database so i'm not sure if you consider the lack of Scottish correct. Probably not.

I saw it because i ran my Oracle again for EUtest

Scottish I think is from a small population, in a small area, in the West.. I'm going to start a new Gedmatch X thread.

So Alex compare your X Oracle to the others like Dodecad..etc..

Lol seems my Grandmother is like some sort of epicentre of English on the 2nd one that seems to be more mixed she comes out like 95% English , with a touch of Spanish and Danish. Actually she does get Iberian show up on the Ancestry composition at 23 and me.

Btw, does it make sense that Cornish is much closer than the rest of British Isles populations? Are they that different?

Not drastically different (although they won't like me saying that). But they are technically part of the 'Celtic Fringe', like Ireland, Wales and Scotland. Although their level of Celtic-ness is up for debate they probably are closer due a larger amount of western European and Mediterranean ancestry relative to other areas of the British Isles, but only a small bit. It's interesting though, seems that Iberians are among the most 'northern' southern European populations. But yeah i guess it is related somehow to the commonality of 'Western European' components as well - I notice you score almost 30 on them, the same as some British and Irish people.
