Question for anyone who might know. What if we match someone more than once? Like this:

Portuguese,PT6,Portuguese,PT9 7.4791
Sorry, lame question I know.

Evon, can you please make some comment about these maps. What is this supposed to mean? Whats the meaning of bigger or smaller circles and locations? What is the purple colored line from northern China to central Europe in the map of Eurasia?
I just don't understand these stuff without any explanation. I only understood that this is about Turkish (TR) and Norwegian (NO) people but can you explain further?

NO1 is me, Palla is NO2.
Greenland has heavy North European influences on their genes..
The bigger the circle the larger the shared segment, the threshold i used was minimum 4cM.
The purple/pink line is none of my making, it came with the map and shows the location of steppe habitat/environment.
Basically the segments show shared ancestry between two people.
The map of europe as an example shows where in europe you find people that share segments with the Turkish eurogenes member, so TR2 has shared segments with someone from Spain which deemed from the size of the circle is around 4-5cM, TR2 also has a larger match in Slovakia and on the Asian map TR2 has a match in Manchuria and North Siberia (you can check which populations in these areas TR2 matches, and to see which ethnic groups they belong to, as most matches are with reference samples and not other eurogenes members).

I will make some new maps in the coming days, i want to make one for Orcadian matches outside of Europe, also looking at Mongolian matches in Europe and the middle east, maybe look at Hungarian matches in Asia also, will see what i get around to...
This is the map i used as its so large and is one of the few Eurasian maps that have all of Eurasian and not divided into parts..

I started making some bread in my oven so i had some time to kill, though i would look into East, North and South Asian matches for Kurds, its quite interesting to see and it matches the Turkish one quite well:
Will leave now, but next one is Hungarian and Orcadian, depending on how easy their samples are to read, as with reference samples sometimes they are hard to find..
PS: the match in Singapore is ethnic Indian from Singapore.
