It isn't real, but it is meaningful noise, it means something. You have a bit of ancestry from a people's that used to live in Eurasia and many of them went down to Africa and conquered ancient Sub-Saharans and spread their DNA around, and also left a lot of Y-DNA E in Africa (the ancient Sub-Saharan Y-DNA is A/B).



The Yoruba, West Africans that are being used as a reference for SSA in this calculator, are a mix of ancient Sub-Saharans of the region and these Eurasian people's that spread Y-DNA E. You're scoring SSA not because of their ancient SSA ancestry or because you have recent ancestry from them, which you don't have, but because they are being used by the calculator as a proxy for DNA segments not easily found in other populations in the calculator.

Basically, Yorubans, like most "races" of today, are a mix of different ancient people's and are themselves mixed, and you are scoring SSA for only a portion of their ancestry, not all of it.

If you had SSA from slaves, it would be from Northeast Africa...
