Semite is not a race. Phoenicians were a Semitic speaking people. They did not refer to themselves as "Semites" (since this terminology was first used in the 1770s) nor as "Phoenicians" (that's what Greek called them) but called themselves "Canaanites".

The prophet of Islam did not mention "Romans", but "Roums", and "Roums" means the Byzantines. "Roum" is not even an Arabic word; in Syriac, Roums ܪܘܡܚܐ means Greek soldiers.

The words for the Greeks in Arabic are "Younaniyyun" or "Ighreeq".

And put away the Greek flag from your avatar..it makes me puke each and every time.

You have no ancestry from Greece nor do you live in Greece, you live in Turkey stop misleading people that you are Pontian, when you can't even understand basic Greek and are as Turkish as any other poster.

You don't have to be a genius in geography to understand that Thrace is far away from Syria
Here i made a mistake he was born in Stageira in the Chalkidiki peninsular which is part of the Northern Greek mainland.

It was Demokritos who was from Abdera.

Needless to say that both of them had nothing to do with Syria or Phoenicia
