Anyway I think this calc overestimates the amount of E Eurasian euros have as usually on other calcs I get 1-2% Mong

I think the SSA estimations for Southern Euros are off as well. Sicilians are 3% SSA on the average sheet? No way. Dodecads project has full Sicilians at 1% or 0.7 I think. I can't remember but not 3%.

I got no SSA on my 23andme test but a bit on this calculator. Doesn't match up. I trust the 23andme test. With calculators there are so many and they give different results. No way in hell you know which one is the right one.

1.58. I'm only half Italian though. Half British Isles and 10% Polish. No SSA on my 23andme test. No colonial ancestry.

If someone who is fully Sicilian is 1% SSA and I'm only half Italian there's no way my % is correct.

Other calculators give me no SSA. Eurogenes and Dodecad give me no SSA.

I trust the 23andme test the most since it was actually done in a lab. These calculators are made by "enthusiasts".

Dodecad is good though. Eurogenes is reputable as well. The other ones are garbage.

23andMe is wayyyyy worse than GEDmatch.

All they did in the lab was extract the DNA. The data for what percentage European, etc. you are is just 23andMe's calc designed for New World mongrels who want to know what country their ancestors are from. GEDmatch completely blows 23andMe out of the water. There are some bad GEDmatch calcs like Gedrosia K3, but most of them are better at interpreting your ancestry than 23andMe is.

Not really. Most of the GEDmatch calculators are shit. If someone is 3% SSA, it's going to come out on a 23andme test. That's too big of a % to not show up. These calculators are made by random people. I trust a lab that is certified more then I do some random calculator.

I'd say the only good ones at interpreting your ancestry are Eurogenes and Dodecad.
