Updated the list, everything save for Romania stayed the same. The results are so high for Chuvash and N. Russians not because of some Asiatic admixtures, which you don't have, but because of your high Finnic admixtures (called 'East European'). If you sort out the EU9 results by 'East European', you will find that only Finns, Chuvash, Russians, and North Russians have such high levels of it. There are individuals like 2 out of 19 Swedes, but they are outliers.

Of course, now that I've lost some credibility, somebody else has to confirm that post. I am quite certain of its accuracy though.

Thanks a lot Humanophage, and Sahson too. Yes, it all makes sense. It was indeed the Romanian result in particular I was wondering about. Then again all these results by country tend to vary quite a bit depending on the run in question so you can get all kinds of hits. I love how overwhelming the "Finnic" element is in this one haha.

What's curious, is how you chose the ranges of percentage that decides where to draw those lines.

For Germanic blood connection it's - 22%

Celtic blood connection - 28%

For Balto-Slavic blood connection it's more than twice that of the Germanic range - 51%

I chosed it like this: 30% and up = inside, 29 and lower = outside
That was the rule for Germanic, Celtic and Slavic alike.

The boundary is just there to increase the impression, that the highest percentage regions indeed somewhat resemble the historical core regions of these people. Its not meant to "exclude" some one.

But including the Balkan and Finland into the Germanic boundary just wouldnt have suited my point.

Anyways. I made the maps from that run, not from the latest then.
Its still good (on nation averages level), dont know for individual level (this problem between that GErmanic and Celtic element beeing quiet noisy for individuals because both elements are extemely similiar)

That map has a huge overlap of Germany, Lower Countries, Kent and an undefined part of France.

I guess Johnston can keep his dream of West-Germanic unity.
