Its a bit ironic that some are saying how this was disgusting behaviour from Khabib when Connor and crew attacked a bus full of people and gets let off with slap on the hand fine that he can easily afford and welcomed eagerly back into UFC without any
issue.
Khabib who has been attacked on a bus, has been personally insulted and had his family insulted , he does this and suddenly he is the big boogeyman.
I actually like both Khabib and Connor and I was slightly leaning towards Connor but I think Connor did overstep the line with his trashtalk and passing certain lines can reap certain responses, so not really suprised there was some payback, again I am not in agreeance with Khabibs team members tactics , 3 on 1 and hitting a man from behind is not very honourable.

The other thing is that Connor is clearly up Dana's asshole and vice versa, there was clear bias from the UFC towards Conor because he pulls in the dollars for them.
Dana in reality is probably more pissed that his money making boy lost rather than the post fight event.
In reality this bad press will actually be good for the UFC , truth is UFC fans love this type of drama.

From what i saw, it looks like connor throws a punch first at one of khabibs cornermen.

As for the fight , Khabib dominated , Connor didnt do much at all , initially he had some ok grappling defense but didnt last long.
Not even effective with striking , Khabib actually hit him with nice haymaker.

Fightwise ...Khabib every round. 27/0.

Connor acted as a retarted thug.
I assume, he exagerated his personnality for the show. It's probably part of a strategy to stole fan from the catch who like this kind of rivality and storyline.

The reaction of Khabib is understanble, even if it would be better if he stay quiet.

Too bad, I was supporting Conor. I usually am not a fan of grapplers and wrestlers like Khabib but he dominated the fight.

The highlight of the night was the combat between Ferguson and Pettis, truly spectacular. Looking forward for seeing Ferguson and Khabib in the cage.

I have been informed by Irish and Scots etc that when they support ‘anyone but England’ it does not make them anti-English bigots but is just neighbourly competition.

Personally I don’t get it as I’d think it more normal to support those you’re closer to, but hey. If it is the case then I don’t think that English people not supporting Irish in return can make the English anti-Irish either.

As for the whiskey comment, apparently Conor McGregor released a brand of whiskey last month, so I think it’s more related to him personally than an Irish stereotype.
