If you were to add a new 80% to the population of your county, which min. 8 countries would you pick

The game is as follows:

You would be put in charge of adding a new 80% to the population of your county. If your county has - for example - 1.000.000 people, then 80% of that is new 800.000 people. If your county has as little as 10.000 people, then that's only new 8.000 people.

The trick is, you have to pick an equal number from at least 8 different countries, no repetition is allowed. If you choose 8 countries, then that's 10% from each of the countries, if you choose 16 countries, then that's 5% from each country.

Which countries would you choose?

Edit: this is a game for everyone, whereever you are from in the world, don't led the word 'county' put you off - it's not intended for Americans only, basically the municipality/area where you live in your country. The idea is that you will interact and encounter the new 80% of the population on the daily basis and live nearby.

That's a really interesting answer. I was curious what populations people from India would choose. Although 1.3bln is the population of the entire India, I was asking about a county (more local, regional, so that you and your local residents interact with the new 80%) rather than the entire country. But I guess the answer would still be the same?
