I've eaten some weird things but I think "cowfoot soup" in Belize takes the cake....
What is yours?
(BTW this is pretty offbeat. Has anyone ever eaten camel?)

Sardinian cheese with maggots. When strangers see it they are usually horrified at first, but when they taste it they want more and more. I like it and every time I have the opportunity I eat it; usually in some private banquet, since the sale to public is forbidden by Italian laws.

Sannakji, basically a dead octopus which still retains its nerve activity in its tentacles so they twitch on the plate when served, which gives it the illusion that it's still "alive".

Cow tongue and lamb head, though lamb head isn't seen as weird in Albania and neither is cow tongue I don't think. But to me it seems weird since in England these aren't seen as normal things to eat I guess

The Albanians, these tigers of mountain wars ... have as their religion rebellion. Even their worst warrior is one of the strongest and bravest on the battle-field, just as if he was a knight on the legendary horse. But he has no horse, nor proper weapons for battle. Instead of the horse, he has a lance which strikes as lightning, he has spears who's points are full of posion as the sting of hornets, he has also a wooden bow with some arrows. Furthermore, he is stronger than iron ...
