I'm not Nordic. I have long term ancestry in Ireland but I'm Northern European and on 23&Me I'm 100% Northwest European. Nordics are not the only Northern Europeans. Irish, Scots, Welsh and English are as Northern European as Scandinavians. I don't mind sharing the Northwest European cluster with Nordics but Insular Celts are also Northern European. Anyway Northern Europeans do not get Illyrians in their matches on MyTrueAncestry so I'm perplexed why you say "Illyrian means inbred Anglo"? They don't appear in Northern European's populations.

They are scattered. In the US most common in Utah and Iowa.

Illyrians are not Northern European. It just appears misleading not any surprise here but I wish this forum would try to be more factual and not add to confusion. Illyrians are Greek so why mislead people? I don't know why people get so much satisfaction out of trolling.

Because 23andme and myheritage are fake tests for such admixes. I suggest ancestry or living dna or you could simply go to a local Catholic church and take out records like they did in the olden days. Because that's the only church where they wrote everything down and no one managed to burn it.

23&Me is one of the best tests to take. MyHeritage needs to update their algorithms as they aren't very good but I think they are good for their matches. I do like Ancestry for their GCs as I think they are very good in that area. Most of these tests are pretty good at detecting your main ancestry and it is only the trace regions that are suspect. Anyway dna test are quite good and of all those companies MyHeritage is probably the worst but still not too bad as far as your main ancestry.

It's good it just needs time to update regions for weird admixes like mine. It needs to go way back up to the year 1300.

No company will go back to 1300. They all use modern population panels. You should look at G25 if you want to look at something older.

Excuse me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't ancestry that far back be undetectable via autosomal DNA?

No you're right it just depends on the dna company you use like ancestry and living dna would plot me as what I wrote down on the side cuz my admixtures are common there whereas 23andme plots me elsewhere cuz such admixtures were common way back when there in America it just depends which company you use nothing special. However it seems the population here stayed inbred.
