Yes, Scythians, at least based on current analyzed samples, have been quite heterogenous, especially here in the Moldova-Ukraine region. Some plot as North-East Italians while others are very Slavic. The ones plotting NE Italy may be Dacians since they consistently kept relations with Scythians and mingled at the borders.

Well, yes, interesting. Most likely, the Asian admixture of the Scythians of the North Caucasus and Siberia is also "not native."
I wonder what was their original genetics?
Perhaps something close to Andronovo? By the way, the Russians show some kind of Andronovo admixture, as I read about some interpretations of the results)).

Yes, these samples really look Ukrainian. I am not Ukrainian)). Judging by these data)).
I am relatively far from this sample.
Although my ancestors were from some parts of Eastern Ukraine.
I wonder where the Russians get on this raft?))
And also Poles or Belarusians))?
I saw the results of the Ukrainians. They really will be at a distance of 2 from a sample of Kievan Rus, if I am not mistaken. I have seen several results.
Although in any case, both Russians, and Ukrainians, and Belarusians and Poles are basically genetically very close peoples. One Slavic basis is clearly visible. But there are slightly different impurities.

My father appears to match the St. Mary’s Cathedral baby, but not Calvert himself. Genetic distance of 12 and change to the child. Not sure what the heck all that may mean..

I think it is based on the YDNA of the samples that match you right? Heres mine
YDNA(30% R1b/19% J/19%E1b/10.8%G) these were the highest percentages of those that matched me. R1a, I1, T were all 5.4% each and I2/E were 2.5 each.
MTDNA was a cluster fudge to go through, but H/H1+H3 are highest
