They seem to score on average 3-8% more NA/Baltic summed up than Wallachians and are pretty much identical to Moldavians, apart from these Moldavian cases with over 28% Baltic.

He scores 28%, but yeah, they could be either from there or Moldavia, since they fit with the rest. With regards to higher Atlantic, if I'm not mistaken right now, that's kind of what I noticed. I will create separate threads on Transylvania, Wallachia and then a summary thread for all 3 regions at some point in the future.

The problem is what in your list exist two individuals with the same surname, and you don't know anything about them. And their surname is not even in top 100 or even top 200 in today Republic, but is very common in Romania. This is the reason why I don't really belive they are locals.

That's comfortably in north Balkan range. Bosnia itself is more northern shifted than that.

The problem is what in your list exist two individuals with the same surname, and you don't know anything about them. And their surname is not even in top 100 or even top 200 in today Republic, but is very common in Romania. This is the reason why I don't really belive they are locals.

I know that they are not a family or relatives, as I've checked just in case. I could simply keep them here and then also include in the Transylvania table. When we will have the summary, they will be assigned to the "white" region, i.e. uncertain origin

Tranylvanians are not identicall to Moldavians, much more Balkan.

I'm trying to think based on personal experience.

A+name+ței/sei is the most common type of surname (I mean type, random surnames are more common) in Romanian Moldova, despite it being originary from the upper half of the area. Adochiței, Atodiresei, Adomniței, Avasiliței, etc.

Popescu is somewhat common. After this one, -escu names are as common as names ending in -achi/-ichi, indicating Greek ancestry.

Munteanu is a common surname.

Tranylvanians are not identicall to Moldavians, much more Balkan.
