What problem have you with Poles or Italians? They are nice people...

For Greeks the answers would be Turkey and Italy, easily. I have Turkey in my top 20, Poland wouldn't even be close to Top 100. On the other hand, Italian is always our closest match after Greek.

But those calculators have no sense if the only who then post their results are Spaniards , Irish, Italians and no Turks or Greeks.

Same with this one, it was not for Greeks or Germans, was more oriented for other Balkan people or Italians.

For Spaniards and Portugueses we did "Are you closer to Morocco or Germany" or "to North Africa or Saami", and all of us did them.

Well it will be limited to who have the G25 and yes some calculators make more sense for certain ethnicities as some results will be pretty obvious depending on where your ethnic background. But certain European populations might be close to Han Chinese for example. I know from previous threads that Irish are closer to Pashtuns than North Moroccans which I find pretty interesting. Anyway hopefully more people will get the G25 once the General is doing it again.

Most Europeans would be closer to Poland but it would be interesting to see what populations are closer to Turkey. I like to see some results that are not always obvious. Even seeing if you are closer to an Asian population or North African etc but then I'm a bit of a nerd with these things.

The problem is Turkey has a lot of variations among its population and regions. They have very different genetic inputs from many places and not only variety coming from abroad, also in it autochthonous populations.

This has nothing to do with GEDmatch. You would use a site called Vahaduo instead of GEDmatch: https://vahaduo.github.io/vahaduo/

You need to order your coordinates before you can make use of that for yourself though.
