It's hard to get the average as the first choice for everyone, in countries where there is a strong genetic gradient, like in Moldova, Croatia, Romania, Hungary, etc. If the average will be modelled after him, then some other Croats won't get it. To counter this downside, it is probably better to just use individual samples, instead of averages. Then everyone, except for a few significant outliers, will pull to their ethnicity.

Another question: How is it possible that a lot of Serbians, Albanians, Bulgarians usually get around 45-60% Balkan on MyHeritage? I only know one Bosnian YouTuber who got more than me (100%) lol.

Albanians get very little Balkan, MyHeritage labels them as Greek & South Italian instead. As for Serbs, most of us will score 70-100%, but I've enountered individuals for whom the algorithm went sideways and instead of lumping their ancestry into Balkan, they divided it evenly into Greek, Balkan and East European.
