Alsatian Germans are similar to Swiss Germans.

They should be since both are Alemanic, except far northern Alsace which is Frankish.
But I am suprised how northern and Germanic admixed Alsatian G25 samples are, more than I tought.

Here is my mom's result. I took all the new German codes from this thread + England.

Besides (1) British great-grandparent, all other known ancestors of my mother are German. Mostly West Germans, some Bavarian's, as far as I know. It was always said that we had a line that traced back to Prussia, but I'm not as sure about that.
