I'm sure they can pass there. But honestly, to me they look similar to Northwest Africans or Levantines, like it was stated in some aforementioned posts. So I would say Jordan for most of them.

There are many Mena looking people in Sicily and Calabria but Calabria lacks almost completely ( like Sardinia ) "blonde" people ( less than 3% in my opinion ).. that can be found in Sicily ( not more than 5-6 % )

Maybe...The darkest region in Italy are.. Sardinia ( but they don't look MENA at all ).. and Calabria-Campania..
