I'm starting to believe that Transnistrian Russians, at least those who haven't come to the region recently, are only cultural Russian, but genetically anything from Moldovan/Romanian to a mix of nations.

Now I talked to another person, who was also raised Russophone and Russian, in this case Tiraspol, but genetically could pass as a Moldovan from the North.
Luckily, in this case I also have the surname, which is of Moldovan/Romanian origin. So who knows how mixed they are, but at least paternally they should be Moldovan/Romanian.

I will count her in my spreadsheet as unmixed Moldovan from Transnistria, just because we don't have anyone else from there. But given that she was raised Russophone and to identify as Russian, she is very likely to be of mixed origin. She is more Northern-shifted than that Bender/Tighina Russian. But she is definitely not of unmixed Russian origin.

I think the guys in the South are so too, to the same extent of similarity within the group as those in the Centre and North. There are outliers in every region.

The obvious outliers in the South are Moldova_76_StefanVoda and Moldova_79_StefanVoda, but the rest are pretty close to each other.
