There are Arabs from Erbil but nowadays most have assimilated and speak Kurdish or Turkish. The guy from the Iraqi project even tested one Arab with deep roots in Erbil. Erbil city pre-1950 was mostly Jewish and Turkmen with some Arabs and Kurds.
