Well, I'm not completely alien to Hungary, but not very close to the avarage either.
Oszkar the half brit is closer to hungarian avarage on k13 than I am, slight difference though.
I am barely closer to hungarian avarage than Mr.G. is.
All the three of us are more or less equidistant to the k13's hungarian avarage which is funny cuz I have 4 grandparents from hungary, they only have 2 and slovaks(which type of ancestry I have) genetically resemble hungarians more than brits/germans resemble hungarians.

i mean on Docedad K12b on harappaworld on k15 and k10 you have Hungarian in your top 3 as 1 population so that speaks for itself i think. those calculators work for most people. and even though K13 might be the most populair it does not mean that it should also work for you and even there you score Croatian in your top 3 and if i remember correctly Croatian an Hungarian populations are very close geneticly.

Could be Roman soldier blood. Romans who colonised balkans/panonnia/dacia were of diverse origins including mena.

If you were ever to invest in testing again, I'd say go for Ydna (I-M423 panel on yseq). You most likely belong to Din N subclade (it peaks in nothern Slavs), just like Miklos Horthy.
