I don't play video games currently but I'm thinking into getting into high IQ games like Sid Meier's Civilization series I can play that on my laptop with linux I don't need an xbox one or playstation. Strategy games in general seem high IQ -- I might try this one out and it is relatively cheap on Steam :

You can do all those stuff on PS. There is also a PS mouse and keyboard add on.
When it comes to gaming I had the same opinion like you. In fact, I still think that nothing can replace mouse (and keyboard) when it comes to gaming, but having a mouse and keyboard and sitting in front of monitor don't give that comfortable feeling you have when playing PS.
Imagine a 65 inch TV in front of you, sitting on ergonomic chair which enables you to lay down with feet up and nothing but small wireless joystick in your hands with plug in for headphones. Very relaxing.

“From the Church’s point of view there is no objection whatever to racial research and race culture.
Nor is there any objection to the endeavour to keep the national characteristics of a people as far as possible
pure and unadulterated, and to foster their national spirit by emphasis upon the common ties of blood, which unite them.”
- Cardinal Michael von Faulhaber Archbishop of Munich
