Moldovan/Romanian GEDmatch Results v2

[Ion Basescul]

Which community are you talking about? That high Baltic Moldovan from the North? Pretty sure most people are like him unless they are transplants from other regions.

These are all North Moldovans of unmixed heritage. I am changing the colour of the text to red for those whose ancestors must have assimilated East Slavic minorities.

I wouldn't have any objections to those scoring more than 60%, if literally all my half Slavic and half Moldovans from the North scored close to that.

There are others who also score in the 60-63% range who are halfies, but they are from Chisinau. This is not the case for those above, where they originate in the North.

Local Ukrainians from the North and Transnistria are also not that far off, with one exception. All are confirmed through their family trees and contacts, so I am not just guessing from the surname.

Ei îs sudici că au gene sudice de la coloniștii balcanici, se vede și în mediile făute de tine pe regiuni. Expresia mea se referă la cum îi caracterizezi pe moldoveni în general, centrul și nordul nu au așa diferențe mari genetice, numai sudul, fără el moldovenii îs destul de omogeni, ceea ce nu-i de mirare.

N-avem nicio dovada ca cei din Caplani s-au amestecat cu popoarele din Balcani.
Ambii stim foarte bine ca gagauzii si bulgarii au venit dupa razboiul ruso-turc aici, ceea ce e destul de recent. Avem desigur satul cela din Basarabeasca, dar diferenta acolo e ca se vad originile colonizatorilor in familii si in dictionarul lui Arbore localitatea e mentionata ca colonie bulgara.
