yeah, I´m agree, but anyway G25 it's probably better,but it is not the absolute truth either .

But at least we can create our own models using the references we think are suitable.

In the previous post I didn´t mean that MTA give us false results directly, a little "made up" and "adorned".

My thought too. G25 has been more insightful for ancient DNA matching than this site.

G25 is retarded polack science at least in it's rawest form without adding advanced mathematic group techniques to it which some Dutch dude did which is useless for individuals. Not only are the modern populations trash but the bigger problem is that G25 is too fine-grained especially modern populations. I know you said ancient DNA but really how much do you need to know about ancient DNA ? I mean if you get sidetracked by their matching you to nobles, kings or whatnot then yeah it can seem like bullshit but if you focus on your closest modern populations and closest ancient populations and stuff it is good. If you really wanted to nerd out you would use qpAdm which is the real nerdy shit while G25 is poseur fake nerd stuff.

G25 says my closest population is Dutch followed by Norwegian which is retarded. In contrast MTA says closest population is SouthWest English and I'm obviously not Dutch or Norwegian. Has anyone who has seen my pictures seriously think I'm Norwegian ? :

You can potentially model yourself in a more fine grained way with G25 with ancient populations but how helpful is that and what point is that a case of diminishing returns ? For instance, G25 says my closest ancient match is a viking age person from Dorset England but this is pointless information to me since it is not a source population etc... so I would have to remove that sample and add other samples and it gets to be a nerdy extravagance with diminishing returns IMHO
