Btw being from Qamishli doesn’t really tell us much from where he is as Qamishli was founded as a small Assyrian village only 100 years ago, I don’t know where the Kurds who live there now came from.

He has around 47k SNPs so it is not an accurate result. In comparison, my results are 150k SNPs. The South Asian is normal btw, but he has high Atlantic Med.

His maternal side is fully from Qamislo but his grandparents from fathers side are from Batman.

It has turkish etymology though? The +li/lu suffix is turkish. I heard that arabs from Mosul forexample have that -siz suffix which is "-less" in english. like serefsiz is honorless.

A Turkish translation of Syriac/Assyrian Neo Aramaic Beth Zallin = house of reeds/place of reeds. Qamish is reeds in Turkish. Like I said a town founded by Assyrians from Mardin who fled the genocide during WW1 so pretty new.
Btw the -siz ending is a suffix that was been borrowed into both Arabic aswell as the Neo Aramaic of Northern Iraq. Like we also say damakhsiz = without brain/brainless
