I do the same obviously. I don't disclose names and personal details. A good chunk of my kits are not on GEDmatch. But there is no harm in posting the results. Those are just some random numbers. Nobody can be identified based on them.

you could message a bunch of Serbs with a differently formulated message (and also Croats and Bosniaks, to solve the question) like you did for the Bulgarians. i'm sure you'll arrive to similar results as i did.

the Serb range and average being around the values currently on Vahaduo was confirmed on 6 independent samples:

1)academic samples
2)a dozen of Serbian users from Poreklo forum
3)a dozen of Serbian users from anthrogenica
4)a dozen of Serbian users from apricity
5)69 samples from macure.net
6)around 200 of my samples

all have a similar k13 average and range.

I have more trust in you than the average Balkan user, so I don't question you directly, but just the general populace that works on Balkan results. You already proved that to me when I stumbled independently on the Lika Serbs kits and we both arrived at the same average separately.

Can you, or anyone else who knows, tell me who of the below are actual Serbs from Serbia rather than being from Bosnia (yes, Republica Srpska is in Bosnia) and Croatia? If anyone knows the regions too, then that will also help.

Okay, I'll post him. He is very Southern, I thought he was some type of Rumyn/Moldovan because the region has them too but then I learned he was from a Bulgarian village. His grandchildren are pretty much Russian though, totally assimilated.

My Bulgarian ancestor also was from Ukraine. He lived in Vilshanka, central-south part of Ukraine. 25% of population are Bulgarians there

Because we can have equal trust issues with you. I don't, but we for example do no include results of minorities in our database like you do.

There is only one user who has been posing fake results, he was caught and shamed. All other users (from Macedonia, Serbia, Kaspias, Mingle etc) have been making averages best they can.

IncelSlayer is not Moldovan. The only persons from Moldova on this forum are me, Aspirin and the departed Daos and ZmeyGorynych.
Minorities are kept under separate categories in my database. The only exception is Chisinau, where 1/4 and 1/2 mixed minorities are included, due to the realities of the capital.

With that said, I have my reasons to be skeptical. For example, the Bulgarian averages were trash and when I asked to look closer at them, the problem was immediately clear. And people were not shy to draw conclusions based on those weak averages.

Why do I not say the same about Dunai, Kaspias or Creoda? Because they are not nationalistic nutters ready to destroy others. Due to that, logically, they don't have any complexes and insecurities, which will add bias when they make averages. Vbn has been different and trustworthy for now, for reasons that I've already mentioned.
What about you though? Care to explain why user knez's profile is so rare in Croatia? Is it rare or are the averages weak?

Ofcourse he is Moldovan, Moldovans also live in Romania. Deal with it.
We were unsatisfied with Bulgarian averages, not because samples were fake but because Kaspias chose to make them based on city instead on regions and thus they were not very representative due to extremelly low sample size (sometimes even 1).
I see that has been corrected. Vbn already organised them better but he is polite and didn't want to replace old ones before Kaspias approval.

His profile is "rare" because of his extremely low North Atlantic. He is only Croat so far we have with West Med being higher than North Atlantic. His other values are usual and he falls in Croatian range.

Don't you worry about my averages, they are pretty good especially for southern Croats for who we use combined academic samples and user samples, and those we have more than from northern Croats.
I don't make my averages, Vbn makes them for me and we togheder collect samples + Commonsense and Hrvoje have helped with a few.

Nope, the ethnicity doesn't matter at all. We are from 2 separate countries. There are cultural peculiarities in both, even if the ethnicity is the same.

Most people really. I don't intend to give names, as I'm not interested in your Balkan squabbles and vendettas. I am not as fiery. I simply expressed my opinion, which I am fully entitled to.

Just go back and look at how you people communicate. When a Serb/Croat/Bosniak that is more Southern is posted then immediately people speculate about Albanian/Vlach admixture. When a more Northern Serb/Croat/Bosniak is posted that falls into Ukrainian range and is even more atypical than the prior, people start talking about medieval South Slavic profiles. Nobody even dares to assume foreign admixture and these things should be questioned and verified thoroughly. That's why I can't help but laugh at this circus. And I ponder that if these things happen in public, where everyone sees them, then anything could happen in private, because of how your brains are wired.

I guess I'll never know for certain, unless I start working on these ethnicities myself. But I am not interested in them, so I will give you all the benefit of the doubt.
