Tunceli's southern provinces (Malazgird, Cemisgezek, Merkez,Pertek) were armenian majority or 50/50 population, but all the villages were mixed kurdish(zaza mostly) alevi+armenian. there are also sunni turks in those areas since 300. years. most of the region was ruled by local tribes till the republic. The armenians assimilated into the kurds in these regions.
but that sample has too much gedrosia for such a mix. seems an odd admixture.

Assyrian results are boring. I'm atm more interested in Muslims from Iraq, Syria, Jordan and Lebanon. Also you guys, both you and Kyp seem to be able to find kits I can't find. Are you looking on specific Facebook pages or other forums?

I'm in some Facebook groups (Turkish and Azerbaijani DNA). But most results I find via Gedmatch matching.

I think he is permanently banned. But that means nothing. How many sock puppets of Cumansky have been banned for example? 6 or 7? And yes, Hadouken does have certain mental issues.

Um, I usually browse through the matches of an interesting kit I've found. But I am not focused on Iraq, Syria, that kind of places. I can't even tell who is who by their names. I do try hard to fish out any North Caucasians and Central Asians that are available, that's my main focus regarding this thread.
I'd say there is no shortage of Iranians on Gedmatch, Lebanese people are pretty numerous as well. Armenians, Azerbaijanis, Georgians exist in decent numbers, especially the first. For Iraq we have that huge-ass Iraqi Project account but Syria and Jordan are definitely underrepresented.
