Turkish results even if low EE in those regions always have higher NE than Armenians or local Greeks. I've seen results from places like Samsun with 3% but they would score 15 NE, compare to a local pontic greek who score like 3-4%.

Don't know the reason. Armenians are very low Steppe people, that's true. Maybe other, more Western Anatolians were more Steppic than them.

I was just curious about what the kits of most Iranians I know would be like. I have tons of random Iranian kits and there are tons on this thread but I can not necessarily confirm where in Iranian they are from.

Also I would be very interested in any results/kits of people confirmed from semi-nomadic tribes like Lur, Bakhtiari, or Qashqai.

The North_European seems quite high is that common in the average Northern Iranian kit. Most Iranian results I see the North_European and Alantic_Med are 4-6% each.

Slightly above average maybe. Average of all Persians I have saved is at 7.55 North_Euro and 6.01 Atlantic_Med.
4-6% is more common in the Southwest.


Btw. if you're partly Qashqai you should find relatives from your Qashqai side to test

I do not have any 100% Qashqai family members alive any more . 3 of my Grandparents are half Qashqai. I am looking to test my paternal grandmother though because her father is fully Qashqai so her result should be a bit more accurate descriptive of a full Qashqai; then my paternal aunt who is the child of 2 half Qashqai people and has Bandari heritage. I am just waiting till Black Friday for the 23andme deal.
