The interesting thing is it was existing before IE- Expansion and how Lazes escaped from this influence for thousands of years.

I don't know man, the Laz are known for light pigmentation and I still tie light features to North European influence or Steppe.
This guy, Muhammed Suiçmez, is a Turk born in Karlsruhe, Germany and an extreme metal musician. I read his interview a few years ago and he said he doesn't look like most Turks, therefore faces less "discrimination". I presume he is of Laz extraction. Not too often one would meet Turks looking like this

I agree, many Turks claim Lazes are mostly Armenoid but i must disagree sometimes. Yes they rather have more a Caucasian look than an Euro- look but many have definitely very light appearance which makes them very special. Here people from Trabzon are one of the biggest groups from Turkey. Some look like regular Turks and some are have special lool where i never would guess any relation to Caucasia. That should be an important lesson: appearance =/= genetics!

Nah, his caucasus would be higher and North Euro and Atlantic med lower.
there are 10 other results from the coastline in that region and his results seems typical for central black sea coastline, there are results from türkeli, inebolu, sinop who score like that 2-4% eurasian. In non-coastal provinces its like 5-10%. Seems the coastline have absorbed more rums in their dna. o yorede 20yüzyila kadar rumlarda varmis sahil kenarlarinda.
also it shows that even in western black sea region North Euro seems to have been low, he scores 9% NE eventhough genetically he's pretty native, we can assume that the Turcomans scored higher NE than Greeks in Anatolia in almost every province except in Istanbul and Thrace.

    Spoiler!
Individuals with this look can be found non-typically in any region of Turkey (except maybe in Kurdish areas).

People from Turkey generally lightwash Eastern Black Sea people.

User altaic is another 'white-passer' from Turkey, from Eastern Turkey, I believe. Though he seems to love his miniscule Mongoloid most But I still wonder how that guy would score on a DNA test. There are plenty of darker natives in Northeastern Europe for examples, darker than him.

Not only Laz people are lightest. Circassians, Bosniaks & Albanians are known for their light features also.

Phenotype is not always equal to genotype, the proof is my Pakistani friend's maternal aunt. She looks very Uzbek or Kyrgyz but is a Pakistani from Karachi. My friend claims her own ancestors came from Hyderabad, India to Karachi in 1947

The community traces its origins to the shifting of the Delhi Sultanate's capital from Delhi to Daulatabad in 1327 during the reign of Muhammad bin Tughluq, and come from various native and foreign ethnic backgrounds [4] The migration of Urdu speaking peoples to the Deccan led to the creation of a new variety of Urdu called Deccani, as well as the establishment of the Bahmani Sultanate, which was the first Independent Muslim kingdom in southern India,[5] and the Deccan Sultanates which followed its demise.[6] Deccani Muslims can have Arab, Afghan, Persian, and Turkic ancestries in addition to having the local Indian heritage.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deccani_Muslims
I guess my Pakistani friend have some Turkic ancestry on her maternal side. I've heard many Kipchak & Karluk Turkics settled in Indian sub-continent. She already looks dark Turkish (her facial features can pass as ethnic Turk, Kurd or Azeri but skin color is too dark for passing as typical here)

What? Why you didn't take into account possibility he is of Balkan Turk ancestry (Bosniak for example). It is much more possible to be blond in such case than being Laz lol.
