Thanks for sharing. Having looked at the results of your father, who is from Galati right?, it seems as if the elevated East Med that's interpreted as Anatolian came from your mother's side (Covasna?).

My father is 3/4 galati and 1/4 covasna. My mother is 1/2 galati from her mother but her father, i don't know his family history. He is maybe from suceava.

Suceava was multi-ethnical in the not so distant past and those people assimilated as Romanians over time. Usually the ethnics there were Ukrainians, Poles, Germans, Jews, but I guess there could have been some that were more exotic to explain the elevated East Med. Otherwise, I know a person from Buzau who is 1/4 local Greek and if I remember correctly Braila county that borders both Buzau and Galati used to be one of the main maritime hubs on the Danube through which external merchants interacted with this region. So maybe the interesting part comes from Galati and is something Greek or Balkan Turkish. You could ask Kaspias to do a one-to-one match on GEDmatch between you and his Balkan Turkish kits to see if you are related. But I don't think that autosomal DNA will be enough to answer this question. You might need to reconstruct the family tree.

I doubt the east med comes from my maternal grandfather. He looked northem or even west european. It is probably from my maternal grandmother if it is based on looks. I will test soon my mother. I also noticed the 4.0% anatolian and west asian transformed into 1.8% iranian, caucasian and mesopotamian. It says i inherited 0.8% of that dna from my father, but my father does not have it.
