Finally got my Grandmother's Ancestry results. I thought she would be mostly of Qashqai descent. She always said her mother's family came from a town in Almarvdasht near Hormozgan (an area with many afro-iranians and bandari) but I didn't believe her because she has Alzheimer's and my Aunt said that her grandmother came from Marvdasht in northern Fars (also her mother was naturally blonde with blue eyes). But, considering the high African and Southwest Asian my Grandmother was correct seems like she had an Iranian Arab/Iraqi ancestor because she has MANY Arabian matches. I think it would come from one of the Arab tribes in the Qashqai. Also VERY high Northern European I guess this is where my aunt and I get our higher Northern European from. I wonder what exactly is the reason why all our results get such a high Northern European ??

The amount of pure Arab matches she gets on AncestryDNA, Gedmatch, and FamilyTreeDNA is very damning. Also on some of the Gedmatch calculators and AncestryDNA, she gets Arab. I am not really sure what the average Qashqai results would even look like but it seems consistent with the Steppe ancestry.

I do not know what tribe I come from it has taken me forever to even come close I have been researching all these Farsi resources. I have gotten some results on that but the tribes are SOOOOO confusing because the structure is confusing and some tribes have moved to other tribes.So, I'm thinking it's either Kashkouli, Darehsouri, or a Khamseh tribe ( the Khamseh tribe would make sense with the Arab heritage ). It's just a nightmare trying to understand it with the little info I have gotten from my family because the last person actively living in a tribe was my Great-Great Grandparents.

One from Qazakh and the other one from Gadabay, where people score the highest amount of the East Asian ancestry in Azerbaijan.

I don't know man, but as far as I know light Azerbaijanis are pretty rare. I don't mean vaguely light-skinned but like that Turkish guy. North Caucasians, Western Turks and Georgians are lighter on average but even they are darker than an average Eastern European.
I'd like to see those guys to be honest.

Most people from Qazax, Aghstafa etc. are not blond. Their stereotypical look is dark, short/stocky and roundfaced from what I have seen. Blueeyed persons I more associate with citys like Khachmaz but it's rare even there of course.

Also Yörüks being lighter than other Turks is also a myth. They look the same as other Turks from West and South Anatolia, they also dön't differ genetically from them.
