Really? 1.1% is just noise? If it was 0.5 or something I wouldn't bat an eye, but this seemed more substantial.Nothing spectacular to point. That's just noise, not real black ancestry.
I see. That is ridiculous. Only Adjara and Turkey are substantially different from the rest, which can be assigned Gerogian_SW or something.Only 2-3 of them have a more or less decent sample size. Gurian and Adjarian are based merely on 2-3 samples. I tried to have them removed but Lukasz refused to do it. I don't know why the guy even cares about it, in fact he should be very thankful to me for updating the spreadsheet to begin with. At one point he wanted to give me access to the code, so that I could edit it myself but later on he did an about-face and basically pretended he'd never said that. Go figure.
The rest can be grouped together into one Georgian sample, at least that is how I see it at the moment. This is a tiny country, no need for so many averages.
How do you change averages in the spreadsheet? I noticed that Azerbaijani average was amended. Is it like in Wikipedia? )) Or are there approved list of users who can change it?

Concerning the Georgians:
Svan - 9 samples
Mingrelian - 8 samples
Imereti - 5 samples
Gurian - 3 samples
Adjara - 2 samples
'Georgian' is mine, it's based on 30 samples or more, a mixed bag, just a bunch of kits I found and deemed Georgian. Possibly a few mixed individuals snuck in too.
'Georgian_Turkey' was added by someone else, I don't know its origin and why an assimilated community should have its own average.

The first one fits so perfectly well with Azerbaijanis though, so I wonder if it is a matter of a very recent ancestor.
Probably assimilation has been going for ages, and now is the final result.
Don't know how realiable, but Wiki says this about the Alborz's capital Karaj:
The majority of the residents of Karaj are Persian-speaking people, with Azerbaijanis making up the second major ethno-linguistic group of the city
Ethnic groups of Karaj (Pars advanced research scholars)
Ethnic groups Percent
Persians 53%
Azerbaijanis 30%
Kurds 7.2%
Gilak and Tabari 5%
Lurs 4.1%
So, probably assimilation is in full force.

Of course, averaging averages is stupid and simply wrong. I thought you could see full list of samples, hence my suggestion
Svans are like 15K - 30K in Georgia, ridiculously low number. I think they have assimilated into the general populace already, but I guess there can be some division within the country.
How do you add and change these averages? Can anyone see this spreadsheet? I am most interested for Azerbaijanis.

They are not 15,000. An entire province is called Svaneti. I don't have a better average for them and I'm not Georgian myself, so we will have to make do with what we have for now.
Lukasz/Lucas has control over the website. To have something added or deleted you need to ask him directly.
