BTW, this mini TV series is only 9 chapters long, for those interested in watching it out of curiosity. Very good TV series.

I am not saying that is the case, but actors are often idealized and not very representative versions of the population.

In the NO DO there are many color videos from the time in which 99% of the spanish population had never seen a black person and in which the most "exotic" was a gypsy (maybe some Cuban or Argentine)

No in this case, and not in most (if not all) Spanish TV series.

I watched this series (and watching it now again), and the variety and frequency of looks are very representative of the real life Spanish population.

I think these old series and films tend to have a greater amount of English looking phenotypes though, my mum is a big fan of Spanish films from the 60s etc and a lot of the people portrayed do look on the whole more central and northern Euro, they certainly do not resemble the Spanish people one sees working in the local cafes and bus stations.

Is this the lady you posted?

She seemed good. The old man could fit as an old Conquistador. The guy with the berret could fit as "caipira".

Could be. But from this show, I don't notice it.

So are the Spaniards as they appear in that tv series.

Currently in bars and cafes there are already many immigrant workers, didn't you know? well, you know.

According to oral family tradition E-FT155550 comes from a deserter of Napoleon's troops (1808-1813) who stayed in Spain and changed his surname.

The guy with the berret is the head of the "intruder" family. The family that rented the Barrack months after uncle Barret (the older guy) and his family fell in disgrace.

The woman in the picture you posted (Marisa de Leza) makes the role of the mother/wife of the "intruder" family.

The younger girl is the daughter. She is the actress Victoria Abril, much younger by then, obviously.
