Typical Apricity level: "North Europeans are typical beasts, subhumans, look how disgusting they are for slaughtering living, sentient animals" while in the same time baking eggs for breakfast, eating chicken soup for lunch and salami sandwich before going to bed, or any other variation of food containing products originating in sentient beings (my respect to those members who criticize from the position of following a plant-based diet). The hypocrisy is just on another level.

It honestly makes no difference to the pig if you're 5 year old kid saw it slaughtered, or never seen it get slaughteted because he was too busy playing minecraft.
Pig still gets killed in the end. And in slaughter houses pig gets slaughtered, not "put down" even, so its suffering immensely either.
Even so a pig never consents to their life being taken from them. No one would argue its ok to feed dolphins or sharks the flesh of human vegetables and other mentally disabled or incapacitated people.
Humans in general are hypocrites about animal rights. Vegans are honestly the only morally superior ones to this issue even though animals do act barbaric towards each other. Humans tend to be oblivious to their own bias.

Imagine raising children that never participate in an animals' death for food. I can't. At a minimum, a fish. Then immediately cook it over a fire and enjoy.
Nine out of ten concerns are completely unfounded.

The issue isn't killing for eating meat. It's organizing a sadistic ritual with mass killings for everyone to see. How else would the sea at the shore turn red? Certainly not with a normal whale hunt at open sea. No, that's the effect of traping a huge amount of whales in a small space for "red sea" purposes.
