Pannonia couldn't have been the Heimat of Slavic people since Slavic invaders arrived here only in the early 6th century and settled only in small pockets in the northern and southern areas. Prior it was inhabited by Illyrians, Celts, Romans, Sarmatians, Huns and Germanics.

We can always speculate but without solid archeological evidence to prove this theory of the Slavic Urheimat within the Carpathian Basin I don't see this credible. As I said, there were pockets living in the northern and southern parts, from migrations, but we don't have much evidence of them in the core Pannonian Plain.
