at least it's 1%, bordering noise, not 8% Pamiri like mine what could bring me Pamiri, could it be Roma/Gypsy?

I so often get all kinds of Tajik (which Pamiri is part of), on Geneplaza got 11%, but nothing Indian or MENA, for example, which would usually go hand in hand with actual Roma ancestry, because of their mix towards Europe. it still could be Gypsy, but it's anyway a strange preference of many calculators to get me out of all things, precisely Tajik, over and over again

I don't think it's Gypsy ancestry. It's normal for Romanians (and also for other Balkanic populations) to recieve some WANA admixture. My mother also has a little Pamirian in her results. (i will share my family's results tonight!)

who knows. though my ancestry is half Ukrainian half Moldovan, both from the border (north and northeast), I have only 1/16 actual Romanian/Wallachian ancestry (maternal great grandma's father).
