Yes, sanctions always work both ways.
But Russki clearly see it's bad for Russia, you think he cares about the West. He wants prosperous Russia first and foremost. Russian people, ordinary people in general just want stability and the sanctions by far ruined that. You won't feed your family with "but hey look they also have bad", you know not everyone with lust of some revenge, I feel sad for you if you do

Very poetic, very poetic.
Wouldn't that backfire on Russia as they will lose that revenue stream as well?
My friend sacrifices @ times are needed. It's for the protection of Russia. If Russia didn't invade you would have NATO up your arse.
So explain to me Einstein, how is he not feeding his family? He's obviously well and alive isn't he?, and there food on his table.
Russia will adapt and get used to not having western garbage/ ideologies (the ones I wish we got rid of over here).

All I wanted to say by the reply to Dusan is that someone having as bad as you or worse is not a good excuse or reason to feel good about all this situation, I could write a bit in a more understandable way it seems
Russki most likely meant economical sanctions not the banning of some media here and there, because there is much more than just "they won't have western garbage so good" Russia didn't adapt even the sanctions of 2014, GDP per capita still is far from the level of 2014, it will stabilize yeah but on the lower comparing to level before Russian officially crossing into Ukraine
