R1b-L277 is just a subclade of R1b-Z2103. You can have a good look at R1b-L277 phylogeny in the R1b1a2 (P312- U106-) DNA Project. Have a look at subgroup _b2. R1b-L23: Z2103+ Z2105+ L277+ and the project research tree. R1b-L277 is a very diverse group.
There are a few knuckheads making claims of a Italian refugium or that R1b-L277 is Jewish. It's rubish. R1b-L277 includes Jews, Italians, Cossacks, Armenians, Assyrians, Pakistanis and Indians, just to name a few.
If you are L277+, please join theR1b1a2 (P312- U106-) DNA Project and help us develop the R1b-L277 haplogroup.
