In connection with the above post, the relevance of finding out who is a bigger European and who is a smaller European completely disappears. Every European has his own farmers and his own hunters. True. EHG contains some 40-60% ANE.

I find those statements in this thread that "GEDmatch" does show X% Siberian somewhat arbitrary:

First, GEDmatch contains more than 30 different calculators.
Second, at Eurogens K13 I get 2.04% Siberian. What that means can just be found out by comparing results of people with known ancestry. However, it can not just be taken for face value.

Only qpAdm style can give absolute values. Then you can compare admixtures between individuals or populations to find out the difference through history.

The "MyHeritage" Calculator shows an average score of 0.2 and 2 for the Ukrainians and Cossacks, respectively, for the Mongolian component, while the Swedish sample does not show any traces of genes from Mongolian origin. The Ukrainian sample also shows an average score of 1 for the Ashkenazi Jewish component and 0.2 for the Sephardic Jewish-North African component. And the Cossack Ukrainian score for the Mongolian component is five times higher than that of the Cossack Kuban's. Although it should be pointed out that the Kuban Cossacks, according to this calculator, carry Central Asian ancestry, and the others with the exception of Dnipro Ukrainians and Zakarpattia Ukrainians don't.
